Ca’ Peo Restaurant
Leivi
is an ancient Liguria’ s hamlet laying on the
hills, which is looking over Chiavari, Portofino and
Santa Margherita: this stretch of coast is a kind
of Eden. There you find the restaurant Cà Peo,
where you can taste the ancient tastes of this region,
belonging to the century-old tradition of the area.
The beauty of the place, the politeness of the owners
and the tasty dishes and the excellent extra virgin
olive oil are attractions for all gourmets, who are
passing by.
A
small hall welcomes you (30 seats), it is a shiny
and cool room. Big glass windows look over the olive
trees stretching all the way down to the sea, the
room is very well furnished, tables are carefully
laid with damask fabric cloths and silver cutlery.
You can choose from a very wide range of prestigious
Italian wines and all dishes are characterised by
the ancient Liguria’s tastes.
Francesco
Solari is the owner and works in the hall, his wife
Melly works as the restaurant’s chef . They
have been able to understand that today’s restaurants
have to look back at the past centuries, at the rich
regional cuisine. They have to modify these old recipes
to adapt them to today’s tastes, a new touch
of imagination has to be added to them, but they do
not have to be radically changed .
If
you wish to stay overnight, two small flats and four
suites are at your disposal.
