"CASTAGNACCIO"
CHESNUT CAKE
Ingredients:

Gr. Chestnut flour
1/4
milk
2
spoonfuls olive oil
The
peel of an orange (as needed)

Gr. Pine seeds

Gr. Walnut kernels

Gr. Raisins

Gr. Sugar
30
Gr. Butter
Salt

Its
recipe:
Let
the raisins soften in lukewarm water. Pour the chestnut
flour in a bowl and sift it. Add slowly the salt,
sugar, olive oil and milk; stir everything by means
of a wooden spoon and dilute with 1/4 water until
you get a fluid batter. Add the squeezed raisins,
pine seeds, the peel of 1 orange and the minced walnut
kernels.
Mix
the ingredients by stirring them. Butter the baking
sheet and sprinkle it with flour, then pour the mixture
into the sheet. Pour a little olive oil on the mixture
and sprinkle it with butter. Put the "castagnaccio"
into the hot oven and let it cook for 1 hour.
