ROSTO DE BEU" (ROAST BEEF)
Ingredients:

Gr. Beef sirloin
1 onion
½ glass white wine
30 Gr. Butter
½ glass oil
1 bay leaf
rosemary
2 cloves
pepper
salt
How
to cook it:
Put
in a medium-sized saucepan the meat with butter, oil,
salt, a pinch of pepper and the chopped onion. Brown roast
the beef through, turning it over then add the white wine,
the bay leaf , the rosemary and the two cloves. Let it
cook on a very low heat for over two hours and cover it
by means of a lid; check on the cooking from time to time.
The roast beef is to be very soft and have to be cut by
means of a spoon. Serve it with boiled vegetables.
