PANCAKES
How
to prepare the batter: Mix flour and water and get a mixture,
which is to be almost liquid, then add salt, a little
oil and 1 egg.
How
to cook them: Wash a lettuce or a few borages, cut them
very thin and add them to the batter, add a little marjoram
too. Then pour spoonfuls of batter into a pan, where oil
is already hot, to fry them. When they are golden brown,
take out of the oil and lay them on a few sheets of blotting
paper.
