“Scurbì” is a Granaccia wine from the Western Ligurian Riviera, a red wine that comes from the cru of the Colla Micheri vineyard, in Andora (Savona). Here the vineyard grows on silty, clayey, limestone soil, overlooking the Mediterranean. The Granaccia blend originates from the Alicante vine which can be found in various local variations in many areas of the Mediterranean coast: for example, another wine that derives from the Alicante vine is the Sardinian Cannonau. Granaccia wine is characterized by its being warm and velvety, with great personality and balance. On the palate it is persistent and the tannins are fine. Rich bouquet that evolves over the years, starting from aromas of cherry, sultanas, blackberries and developing notes of tobacco and cocoa in the background. Dry red wine that goes well with dishes with complex flavors, such as those based on truffles or mushrooms. Excellent wine to serve together with game and game, especially feathered game such as thrushes and partridges, whether they are starters in the form of terrines or main courses. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 18°C, in large balloon-shaped glasses with a tall stem, to better enjoy the intense aromas. It usually has a period of refinement in the bottle between three and five years but you can also experiment with taking the wine beyond this limit, we will be rewarded with even more marked peculiar characteristics
