The 2017 "Dapprimo" red wine from Altavia comes from Carignano, Syrah and Rossese di Dolceacqua grapes. A red, savory, fresh and fragrant table wine. Excellent to accompany second courses of white meat and fish. The Altavia agricultural company was born in Liguria in 2002 from the idea of two friends united by a strong shared passion for Rossese di Dolceacqua, in the Arcagna area, the heart of the controlled denomination of this vine. The name of the company derives from the hills on which the vines extend, which divide the Nervia valley from the Roya valley, right at the beginning of the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. The vineyards extend over approximately 5 hectares perched at 400 meters above sea level, close to the Maritime Alps, sheltered from the fresh northern winds. Today Altavia is a modern company, which grows Syrah, Carignano and Touriga in addition to Rossese, with a production of around 40,000 bottles per year.
