Vinified in traditional concrete barrels, the Felcerosso di La Felce company is a sincere wine, with characteristic aromas, capable of telling the story of the territory in which the grapes were born and grown.
Ruby red in color, easy to drink and refreshing, Felcerosso is produced with a blend of local and territorial red grapes, which give the final product pleasant floral aromas.
Young and simple red, but not for this obvious. The intent of Felcerosso is to focus attention on the characteristic and genuine aspects of wine production, also through the pleasantly fruity expression. Energetic on the palate, with scents of red fruit, aromas of Mediterranean herbs, floral nuances, Felcerosso offers spicy and herbaceous sensations.
The winery is owned by the Azienda Agricola La Felce, located in the hilly area of Castelnuovo di Magra, on the Riviera Ligure di Levante, between La Spezia and Massa. In just over 5 hectares of vineyards, this small family-run business has decided to orient its production towards sustainable practices, choosing to follow the dictates of organic farming and avoiding the use of chemicals. The white grape varieties are grown on the wonderful strip of coast between the sea and the first mountains of Lunigiana, while the reds are produced with the vineyards located in Ortonovo.
