The first store "Rossi" was born in Genoa, Via Assarotti in 1947 thanks to the intuition of Silvio Rossi and within a few years even family members participate in the company until the sixties the shops became five.


Five confectionery Genoese specialized in the sale of classic favors with sugared almonds that of sweets in general.



In the seventies things change and the shops are two, one with Silvio at the helm and the second purchased by our family, which raises the shop in Via Galata. Today, our structure is again on 4 traditional stores located in the center of Genoa.



One is the old confectionery in via Galata, one is a grocer which over the years has become an "excellence emporium" in via Cesarea and then EVO in Piazza Colombo and the newcomer "Gamalero" in the market in Sarzano Square. All small traditional shops, from 22 square meters to the largest 40. This is an accurate choice to maintain a direct relationship with the public: intimate and friendly.



The Rossi family over the years has then also enlarged with the "Gelateria Frutteria Galata" and the restaurant "Il Genovese".

The selection of the products that you find in stores is the result of the work of three generations, always updated but often privileging the substance to form. Today we are able to range from caviar to chocolate, from stone ground flour to the most exclusive Champagne. All in search of the best quality / price ratio.



Our 400 m² warehouse is equipped with cold rooms for storage of products while our stores are equipped with air conditioning working day and night since 1974 to ensure the integrity of each individual product.

Our e-commerce which has been operating for over ten years (yes, we are pioneers!), has always been consider an extension of our shops, where there is never lacking one more word with the customer.
