Basanotto is a fresh and aromatic liqueur: the citrus scents of Chinotto di Savona and lemon peel combine with the herbaceous notes of sage and basil - the true symbol of our beloved region - then completes the mint for a velvety and persistent finish.

Basanotto is a liqueur that can be served either neat (with ice) or with prosecco but it is also excellent for being used to create many cocktails (it goes very well with rum or tequila). It can also be kept in the fridge before being enjoyed, however we do not recommend storing it in the freezer because Basanotto, if enjoyed too cold, frozen, loses all its nuances and its richness from the best raw materials of Liguria with which it is made.

Description

From BASilico, la SAlvia and chiNOTTO comes BASANOTTO, the Ligurian liqueur made with typical Ligurian herbs and citrus fruits. To be enjoyed fresh and smooth with ice or to be used to invent many imaginative cocktails, Basanotto is a fragrant and velvety liqueur on the palate: you can immediately recognize the citrus notes of lemon and chinotto di Savona - which have been macerated for 30 days - harmoniously completed with the herbaceous nuances of basil, sage and mint.

Basanotto with its wide range of aromas goes very well with many ingredients and allows you to have fun creating different aperitifs, such as a basil-based mojito...

45ml of Basanotto
15ml of white rum
20ml of lime or 1/2 crushed lime
2 teaspoons of sugar
Soda to taste
Ice

In addition to pairing with Rum (we also recommend trying Basanotto to make a Daiquiri), this liqueur that comes from raw materials from Liguria is excellent with Tequila or Prosecco (in a Ligurian version of the Hugo cocktail).
