This variety, introduced in Liguria in the 18th century by a Ligurian sailor returning from Pernambuco, Brazil, is today synonymous with excellence and tradition. "Washington Navel" oranges are appreciated for their thick peel, rich in aromatic essential oils, which give the liqueur an intense and persistent bouquet of flavors. The natural sweetness of these citrus fruits, balanced by the use of bitter orange as a rootstock, makes this liqueur perfect to enjoy on a warm summer evening, offering a fresh, fragrant and enveloping experience.
