It is defined as a wine "with the bottom" because the typical deposit present in the bottle amplifies the taste sensation. Axillo is a sea wine, with a herbaceous and slightly almondy sensation in the finish, characteristics of the vines present in the cuvée.

To fully appreciate its flavours, Axillo should be served at a temperature of 10 degrees.
