This white table wine "Spigau Crociata Vini Liberi" 2009 expresses the unconventional vision of the Rocche del Gatto winery in Albenga. The wine is born from the selection of the best local grapes that, instead of being processed as everyone does, are vinified in purity, following a procedure usually used for the vinification of red grapes: the final result gains in aromatic complexity, developing the right minerality, with scents and notes that evolve over time, making this wine a white wine with great potential that begins to give its best at least three years after the harvest.
White "Spigau Crociata Free Wines" 2009, l 0.75 - Rocche del Gatto
From a selection of the most famous native white grape, vinified in purity, as if it were red grapes. The result is a surprising wine for its complexity and structure. A wine that begins to give its best at least three years after the harvest. An unusual white wine and one that is not typical: with great potential.
On the nose it has hints of Mediterranean scrub while on the taste there is a characteristic saline note that distinguishes the entire production of Spigau by Rocche del Gatto, a winery in Albenga.
It pairs well with shellfish and aged cheese, as well as traditional dishes of local cuisine.
The presence of crystals on the bottom is proof that the wine has not been subjected to any physical or chemical treatment.
Serving temperature: 15°C / 16°C
